PALM SPRINGS AIR MUSEUM F-117 DEDICATION
Palm Springs Air Museum celebrated its 26th anniversary with thanks to all who served Our Country. The event was held on Veteran’s Day weekend, November 12, 2022, for a day filled with flight exhibitions, musical performances, birthday cake, re-enactors and activities for the kids.
At 1PM PSAM officials unveiled the newly restored F-117 Nighthawk, aircraft #833, and made a special tribute to all who built, maintained and flew this incredible machine. Palm Springs Air Museum did a beautiful restoration, display and unveiling of the F-117A Stealth Fighter. The community donors, Lockheed engineers, veteran maintainers, aviation artist Stan Stokes, and the vision of Director Fred Bell, culminated in an inspiring and enjoyable weekend.
Stealth Fighter Association Vice President and Aviation Hall of Famer, Maj Gen (Ret) Greg “Beast” Feest was on hand representing the SFA at this hallmark event, recognizing not only the F-117 itself, but all the men and women who made it happen.
